Welcome to the „Bavarian House of History“

This house was built nearly 500 years before. Since more than 400 years wine was offered to guests. On the way to your room we would like to tell you (hi-)stories about the Hotel Post and Burghausen. A journey through the time

First floor you hear about the brave chimney-weeper „Cura“ who rescued Burghausen of it´s conquerors. Have a look at the picture on the front of the house. Second floor we tell you about the unhappy ducess Hedwig and the farmer-son Helmbrecht, which found a horrible end as robbing and killing knight. Upstairs you read stories about Burghausen and Bavarian menality.
