How to travel to Burghausen: 

By train

1.5 - 2 hrs from Munich (many daily connections)

By car

From Munich-East, take the highway A94 direction Passau (KM 12). Then continue on highway B12 direction Mühldorf (KM 70). On the federal road B20 (Straubing Berchtesgaden) take Exit Burghausen (KM 100).

From Salzburg (Austria) via the federal road B20 direction Tittmoning / Burghausen. (KM 60).

From Frankfurt, take the A3 motorway towards Offenbach, Würzburg-West (KM 105), Nuremberg (KM 230) and Regensburg (KM 317). Via the national road B20 direction Straubing (KM 360), Marktl (KM 450) and Burghausen (KM 460).Coming from Vienna:- Exit Linz, continue on B12- via Marktl to Burghausen

Coming from Munich/Mühldorf/Altötting/Neuötting
Stay on Federal Road B12 towards Passau, until you´ve passed Altötting. Take the Burghausen/Emmerting exit.

Coming from Munich airport

Heading for Erding-Dorfen. Watch carefully for the road signs to Erding. Once in Erding, stay on that road and pass straight through the town, following the signs to Dorfen. Shortly after leaving Dorfen (on highway B15 towards Rosenheim), take a left turn, following the road signs to Mühldorf-Schwindkirchen. Continue following the signs to Mühldorf until you reach a road sign for Mühldorf-Passau, where you have to turn to the right, onto highway B12 towards Passau. Coming from Munich/Mühldorf/Altötting/Neuötting
stay on highway B12 towards Passau, until you´ve passed Altötting. Take the Burghausen/Emmerting exit.
